We headed around Tahoe, down the eastern Sierras, spent a night in Lone Pine, waved goodbye to the snowy peaks and then spent two warm 90-plus degree days in Palm Desert with our wonderful sister (in-law's) family. The heat was a bit of a shock, but a blessing and we felt like lizards soaking up the warmth. We were even able to make a quick visit to Joshua tree with its rounded rocky outcroppings, Joshua trees, and blooming Ocotillo and Mojave Yucca.

We've now arrived in the red rock country of Arizona - starting with Sedona where we are staying at a lovely Airbnb home with a view of the surrounding bluffs and red-orange rock out every window. Today's agenda - a nice long hike - finally!

E&N you are having way too much fun. Should have known you would pick-up on the blogging lifestyle after those professional careers. Thank God your on you way and glad we are now able to comment. Photos are excellent. Anxious to see photos though of the comforts of "Casita" living .

Good - Happy the comments work now. A few more tweaks and we'll be OK w/ it. We'll be picking up the Casita next Tuesday so we should have some photos available by next Wednesday for you to see. With the amount of excess baggage we brought, hopefully we won't look like hoarders.
DeleteAlso - enjoy your trip! We can't wait to see your photos!
