What we will leave behind: challenging, rewarding careers - of 40+ years, a beautiful new grand-child - just a few weeks old, a lovely country home and our wonderful family and friends and all the fun we have with them. What we will gain - the time to explore and absorb the beauty and history of the West and the ability to immerse ourselves into these adventures unrestricted by responsibilities, time limitations, or jobs. We are so fortunate to have this opportunity and to have good health and a partner who enjoys the same types of adventures, with an identical sense of serendipity - to change our "plans" immediately if something new and wonderful presents itself.
On this blog we plan to chronicle our adventures and misadventures and to share many of our photos with friends and family members. We hope you enjoy the ride!
