2017 and North to Alaska!

It's spring of 2017 and we are preparing for our next trip to Alaska with our Casita. This is another once in a lifetime trip, so we've been planning for a year. We'll be saying goodbye for 4 months to our beautiful granddaughter and our wonderful family, but we are aching to have some new adventures and we have always wanted to explore our wildest and most rugged state. Also, while we are gone, we are expecting another granddaughter, Amelia June sometime in June, and we will be anxious to see her and welcome her to the family when we return in early September.

On this trip, we'll be camping through Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, the Yukon, Alaska, and BC, we'll ride a BC ferry through the Puget Sound,  then we'll camp on Vancouver Island, in Washington and finally Oregon and California.

We're starting out on our trip early on Saturday May 13th and plan to drive north on Hwy 89 and 395 toward Oregon. The first day will be a 7-plus-hour drive which we hope will provide us a healthy jump toward BC. We are so excited and can't wait to begin our adventure!
